8. Product-Specific Policies
In addition to this general policy, each of our products has specific data practices:
Rentablez
As a rental management SaaS platform, Rentablez processes business operational data including inventory records, booking details, customer information (stored on behalf of the business), payment transactions, and business analytics. Rental businesses using Rentablez are data fiduciaries for their own customer data, and Squapl acts as a data processor. We provide tools for businesses to comply with their own privacy obligations.
RentStorez
As a rental marketplace, RentStorez collects and displays business listing information publicly to facilitate discovery. Consumer search queries, browsing behavior, and saved listings are used to personalize recommendations. Community lending features require identity verification for trust and safety. Provider ratings and reviews are publicly visible and retained even after account deletion.
RenTechMag
As a digital magazine, RenTechMag collects newsletter subscription data (email, name, preferences) and reading behavior (articles viewed, time on page, topic interests). This data is used to personalize content recommendations and improve editorial decisions. Newsletter subscriptions can be managed via the unsubscribe link in every email or through your account settings.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
- Notify registered users via email at least 15 days before the changes take effect.
- Display a prominent notice on our websites and products.
Your continued use of our products after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
